KALEB - a beautiful independent Haitian film needs our support
Greetings!
There is a wonderful film written and directed by Kervans Barthelemy. Kaleb is a feature film about a Haitian Seventh Day Adventist family who struggles between living in the United States and following an orthodox religion. After kicking his first born son (Kaleb) out of the home for his disobedience to the church, Jacque (the father of the family) decides he must push his younger son to get baptized. This brings Jacque much conflict with his wife (Rita) who gives him an ultimatum between the church and his family.

You can support this phenomenal film that has a stellar cast including the one and only Atibon Legba Nazaire who plays Jacque (the father of the family) through KICKSTARTER.

FROM KERVANS:
"We would like to raise about $10,000 so that we can find a professional editor to edit this film. Originally, I was going to edit the feature myself but now we think that I might be over extending myself, since I am both the writer and director. We have really great footage and exceptional acting performances. We believe that a professional editor is the missing link between a good and a truly fantastic film. One that will not only be positive to Haitian Cinema but also provides people across the world a lens into Haitian-American culture.
We are aware that $10,000 is not enough for everything that post production work requires, but it does put us $10,000 closer. We will find every way possible to stretch this money and make Kaleb a wonderful film."
Every contribution helps and please spread the word about this wonderful film.
Thank you for you time and consideration.
