FOR A BETTER HAITI!

FOR A BETTER HAITI!

On reflection, Haiti could regain its health financially if the people at the top would stop traveling for a moment and do some serious work!

The waste is obvious and it is being reflected by the lackadaisical approaches of the bloated government. Had there been a reduction to the size of the government, a lot of money could have been used directly to relieve the suffering of the people!

For starters, there is no need for ninety-nine (99) members in the Chamber of Deputies and thirty (30) Senators. There is really no need for all these ministries, because, had they been successful, had they been doing the work they are paid to do, then, most of Haiti’s problems would have by now gone away.

Furthermore, with the advent of the Electronic and communication age, many international ministries could be recalled to Haiti and still function as if they were in the assigned foreign country. That alone, could save a lot of money.

A WISH LIST TO BRING HAITI BACK TO HEALTH!

• Stop pandering to the international community; • Redistrict and merge all the Departments; • Cut the deadweights from the following Ministries: Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development Ministry of Commerce and Industry Ministry of Finance and Economy Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Information and Coordination Ministry of Interior and National Defense Haiti Ministry of Justice Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports Ministry of Planning and Foreign Aid Ministry of Public Health and Population Ministry of Public Works, Transportation and Communications Ministry of Social Affairs; • Close the Consulates and Embassies around the world and create a Diplomatic Park in Haiti for all of them; • Close all Prisons and adopt an enforced zero-tolerance policy against rapists, drug dealers, kidnappers, killers and murderers; • Reassess all treaties and contracts with the IMF and Worldbank, Suspend those that are suspect; • Withdraw if necessary from organizations that have shown to be detrimental to the country; • Demand accountability of the people’s money taken by Bill Clinton (clintonfoundation.org/haitiearthquake, tweeter account #haiti2022, IHRC); • Demand the immediate withdrawal of Bill Clinton’s US/UN/MINUSTAH out of the country;
